Life Is Toff (2014 - 2014)

While Francis befriends an injured jackdaw, eldest daughter Matilda is home from uni and wondering if marketing is the career for her. Her fiery relationship with twin brother Arthur is put to the test as she leads the family in whipping up a new range of foods in their country house kitchen, before launching Brand Fulford at a local farmers' market.

When Francis is invited to open the nearby village fete, the family see a chance to reforge links with the local community. But plans to impress the villagers with a charity challenge stall for children and a star turn at the dog show from the family's labrador Bertie don't quite go to plan. Budding sculptress Matilda attempts to create a cast of her twin brother Arthur.

Arthur explores ways to make the house he'll inherit pay for itself. After Francis suggests a murder-mystery evening, the family embark on an ambitious scheme to run and star in a murder-mystery plot, while laying on fine dining and an overnight stay for paying guests. Amid preparations for the big event, youngest brother Ed wages war on the moles devastating dad's beloved walled garden.

As summer draws to a close, the Fulfords unite in an attempt to win a prestigious Devon tourism award and put their ancestral family home on the map. While plans are formed to impress the judges, youngest brother Ed heads on a ghost hunt and dusts off the 12-bore to tackle the rats that are terrorising Great Fulford's chickens.
