The truth is that, despite its relatively small size, Colombia is the second country in the world with the largest biodiversity and home to 14 percent of the species on the planet. Colombia, for example, has more species of birds and vertebrates than any other country on Earth. And all these animals have adapted to life in an incredible number of different locations.
