Un'altra vita (2014 - 2014)

Elvira arrived in Ponza with a very specific goal: to bring her daughter-in-law Emma and her three granddaughters back to Milan. She does everything she can to achieve her goal. Meanwhile, Pietro receives some good news: he will soon be released from prison.

Pietro arrives on the island of Ponza after being released from prison. He is warmly welcomed by his daughters and his mother, Elvira, though not so much by Emma, who—confused by the situation with Antonio and disappointed by Pietro’s behavior—can’t bring herself to pretend nothing has happened.

Pietro is forced to pack his bags and return to Milan alone. Before leaving, however, he issues a warning to Emma, who is already unsettled by the charming Antonio.

Emma has to leave Ponza because she has to testify at the trial in which her husband is the defendant. She knows that her testimony could land him in jail, and she worries about the consequences this might have on her daughters.
