While Lenoir discovers photos of Solène - who appears to still be a minor - on amateur porn sites, Kacem is woken up at dawn because Maulin has demanded to speak with her. She reveals to Tardi that Maulin raped her twenty years ago and that she can no longer press charges because the statute of limitations has expired. Maulin reports his daughter’s disappearance to the police.
